Radio Elmar, which has been on the air since 1997 is, without a doubt, a unique radio station, since it only plays songs performed by Estonian artists, the majority of which are in Estonian. Raadio Kuku, which began broadcasting on 1 March 1992, is the first private capital-based radio station in Estonia and is well-characterised by its slogan \u2013 riding the wave of worthwhile ideas.
